Rekero Cottages Governors Camp

Rekero Tented Camp overlooks large pools populated with hippo and crocodile, and offers some of the finest big cat viewing in Africa. Wildlife viewing is done on foot with experienced Masai and Il Dorobo guides at the camp in Kenya, or in custom four wheel drive vehicles which allow intimate yet unobtrusive access to the animals.

The camp is ideally situated for the annual migration, which is the movement of over one million Wildebeest and two hundred thousand Zebra from the Serengeti through the Masai Mara in Kenya. Rekero Tented Camp offers Kenya safari accommodation in five spacious double/ twin tents, two triple tents, all en-suite with flush loos and safari showers. Solar lanterns and kerosene lamps are provided in each tent.

An inverter is available to charge video camera batteries, and there is a satellite phone at Rekero's Kenya safari accommodation. The chefs produce appetizing 'farmhouse' meals, which utilize skillful blends of flavours and cuisine from both East and West.
