Sarova Lion Hill Lodge

Set on a plateau, the rooms in the Sarova Lion Hill all have great views over the lake. Although it can accommodate over 150 guests, the lodge doesn't feel like a big hotel, and the chalet-style accommodation is nicely decorated and make for a very comfortable stay.

The 67 chalets are made up 3 different types of rooms; standard room, with twin or double beds, Junior suites (with a lounge and double bedroom and possible en-suite dining facility) or the Honeymoon suite, comprising of two bedrooms and a living room with fireplace with a fire-pit outside for barbeques.
All chalets and suites are en-suite with hot shower and flushable WC. Rooms include mosquito nets, a verandah with panoramic view of Lake Nakuru and tea & coffee making facilities.

Sarova Lion Hill Game Lodge Restaurants & Bars

• Flamingo Restaurant - This has both indoor and outdoor dining areas with a wide variety of international and local cuisines offered buffet style for breakfast, lunch and dinner. It's located on the ground floor with a patio overlooking the pool, lounge and the great expanse of the Rift Valley.
• The Rift Valley Bar - This is nice place to enjoy a sundowner, sit around an open fire under the stars and watch the traditional dancers or guitarist perform.
• For those who want to add a bit of spice to their dining, experience a Bush Breakfast, lunch or dinner can be served outside within the Lodge premises.

Sarova Lion Hill Game Lodge Facilities
The evening entertainment of African dancers and drummers dressed in exotic animal skins, feathers and grease paint all add to the experience of drinking a G & T or cold beer over around a camp fire under the star lit sky. Frogs croak noisily in the ponds and water features located outside the restaurant. The atmosphere is upbeat among staff who regularly parade through the dining room singing a very tuneful and rhythmic, Swahili style "Happy Birthday" to a lucky or (embarrassed) hotel guest.
The pool here is nice, but you have to be a hardy soul as it's unheated and can be pretty chilly.
