Treetops Lodge
Treetops Hotel, located just inside the gates of Aberdare National Park in Kenya, Treetops overlooks waterholes and a saltlick. It is probably best known as the place where The Princess Elizabeth acceded to the Throne on the death of her father George VI during a visit in February 1952.

Treetops is sited in the heart of the dense lichen hung forest of the Aberdare National Park, near Nyeri town; 280 km Nairobi´s Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.

Treetops has 50 twin bedded rooms
The guest rooms called "nests" are tiny bed closets with dark wood paneling, small windows, and no bathrooms. Small communal shower bathrooms are down the hall or sometimes downstairs.
